Oooo I absolutely love Douglas Adams.
Today is another appointment at the doctor's. Our original plan was to try and get another ultrasound. Turns out, they don't have the tech there on Thursdays at 10:30 am.
That is really inconsequential now. Late yesterday afternoon I received a call from our main OB doctor. She said while looking over the ultrasounds, she noticed our baby had a choroid plexus cyst. So now, in addition to our regularly scheduled visit, she also has a specialist for us. When we go in, she'll go over it more, and we can set up an appointment.
It's a little stressful because I did some reading on the subject, and it all reads the same: CPCs are either nothing to worry about, or they're an indication of something really serious, as in physically, or even result in stillborn. Hence the title for today's blog. Al just keeps telling me that there's no point in worrying until we hear from the professionals, and try to keep upbeat, and I'm trying to do that.
